Where Hearts and Lives are Changed!

A Free Gift For You

In your opinion, what does it take for a person to go to heaven?
The Bible says that to be a Christian is a simple step of FAITH. Let’s take the word “FAITH” and look at each letter to see what it stands for in relation to this step:
F is for Forgiveness. Eternal life and heaven cannot be ours without the forgiveness of God. We all need forgiveness! The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
A is for Available. Even though we think that what we have done in the past or what we may be involved in at this very moment cannot be forgiven, the Bible says that forgiveness is available to all people. Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
I is for Impossible. God cannot allow sin into heaven, therefore it is impossible for us to have eternal life and still live in sin. God is a loving, caring, compassionate God; but He must judge sin. So that leads to the question: If we are sinners and sin is not allowed in heaven, how can we have heaven?
T is for Turn. Forgiveness is provided and is readily available to that person who willingly repents and “turns” away from those things that cause them to be separated from God. We must turn from sin and our own selfish ways. The Bible says, Unless you repent, you too...will perish.” (Luke 13:3) Turning to Christ, trusting Him to forgive you and confessing Him as the only Lord and Savior of your life is the way to eternal life. “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
H is for Heaven. Heaven is eternal life. Jesus said that He came to give abundant life (John 10:10). That life is for the here and now, and for the hereafter. Jesus told His disciples: “I go to prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:3)
How can you have God’s forgiveness, heaven and eternal life? It is a free gift that you receive only by trusting in Christ Jesus and by asking for His forgiveness. It is a step of FAITH: Forsaking All I Trust Him!
We encourage you to contact us if you have made a decision to accept Jesus as Savior, or to get more information about what you do now that you have accepted Christ.

Your Salvation Can’t Be Forfeited
Salvation through faith alone cannot be reconciled with the belief that one can forfeit his or her salvation. If I must do or not do something to keep from losing my salvation, salvation would be by faith and works.
I specifically remember the day this particular truth dawned on me. It was as if a light came on. Suddenly, I saw it. I wanted to shout!
That morning introduced me to the true meaning of unconditional love It was the beginning of my lifelong journey into the mystery of God’s truly amazing grace.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will
